We live in Willoughby, a two-story house with a basement, and the old furnace (Rheem) was no longer coping: the upper rooms were overheating, and the lower ones were cold as a dungeon. I started looking for Furnace Dealers in Langley, BC to find someone closer who would not charge extra for every sneeze. In the end, we settled on Knowledge HVAC & Refrigeration - they are simply adequate. They did not just come and "assess the situation", but actually conducted an analysis of the house: heat loss, insulation, the location of ventilation ducts. This already set the tone for trust. They offered several options, but we chose a modular system from Lennox - yes, it is more expensive (about $7,200 including installation), but it has a variable fan speed, and now the house does not have these temperature swings between floors. Plus - it is quiet. At first I even thought that it did not turn on, because after the previous "rumbling" the silence seemed strange. The installation process was organized surprisingly clearly: two technicians came to the house, installed temporary coverings, everything was done carefully in one day. The old stove was dismantled and removed without additional payment. And what is important for me - a week later they called and asked how the system works, whether anything needs to be adjusted. I did not expect such care, to be honest.

Interesting topic, thanks for raising it. I currently live in an apartment, but my parents live in a private house in Langley, and they will also soon be replacing their furnace. I saved the names of the companies you mentioned. It is useful to know which furnace dealers in Langley, BC actually work in good faith, and do not just sell a box and disappear.
